Get Together Foundation has been hosting fundraisers since its inception to help raise money to support our efforts. The events have all been incredible successes with an average attendance of 500 people! With the help of our sponsors, and the generous contributions of the committee members, we are able to put 100% of the ticket price toward the benefit of the children.

2006 Spring Gala

Annual Fall Gala - Man-HAT-an WIG Party

The Foundation will be hosting our Annual Fall Gala on Saturday October 2, 2004, at Tribute, a high tech new event space and museum in downtown Manhattan. The theme of the night is Man-HAT-an WIG so reach deep in the back of grandma's closet and see what you can come up with. There will be prizes for the most creative or bizarre hats and wigs, as well as a prize drawing. The night will include unlimited cocktails and soft drinks, as well light snacks, dancing and an art exhibit. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Get Together Foundation for the Children, for the benefit of New York City's disadvantaged youth. 1st Annual Book Drive
The Foundation held its First Annual Spring Book Drive on May 12, 2004, at The Cutting Room in NYC. The Event was a huge success and we were able to raise nearly 1000 books which were supplied to some of New York City's most needy child development centers in order to update and revitalize the facilities' libraries.

Magic Hands Freddy
On Wednesday, February 4th, Get Together Foundation for the Children hosted a special night of theatre at the SoHo playhouse. This exclusive dress rehearsal of the new Off-Broadway play “MAGIC HANDS FREDDY”, by Arje Shaw (The Gathering) was viewed by more than 160 people who came out in support of the Foundation. This provocative new play, starring Michael Rispoli (of HBO’s "The Sopranos") and Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid) was enjoyed by all who attended. Following the performance, the cast joined the audience for drinks and snacks (see pictures). More than $2,000 was raised for the foundation.

Fourth Annual Holiday Toy Drive
This past holiday season, Get Together once again teamed up with the Edwin Gould Foundation in sponsoring our 4th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to help provide toys to many deserving, yet underprivileged children in New York City during the holiday season. This year's Toy Drive was held at Pressure, in NYC and managed to collect an inordinate amount of toys in support of our cause. Special thanks to all those in attendance.

Halloween 2003
This past October 31, GTF hosted its second Halloween fund-raiser event to even greater success than the first. More than 550 professionals turned out in costume for an event which raised in excess of $28,000. The event included a raffle, a silent auction and even palm readers to keep with the Halloween motif. Some of the many sponsors who leant their support include Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Diageo, Coach Leather, and Anheuser Busch.

Maxim Group's First Annual Golf Outing for Charity
Maxim Group, LLC, a Manhattan based brokerage firm, recently donated $15,000 to Get Together Foundation following their First Annual Golf Outing for Charity. On behalf of the Foundation, and the children we serve, our sincere gratitude goes out to Maxim Group for their generous donation.

Halloween 2002
Our first Halloween fund-raiser was held November 2, 2002, at the Altman building. This was the Halloween party of the year and the turnout was proof. Over 600 people came in costumes of all shapes and sizes to celebrate! The event raised over $24,000.

Spring 2002
In the Spring of 2002, Get Together hosted a tremendously successful fundraiser on April 27, 2002, at Boylan Studios, located at 601 West 26th Street, New York City. More than 500 people turned out for this event which raised in excess of $22,000.
